Policy and Business Analyst
Jessica Yu is a Policy and Business Analyst based in Barton Deakin’s Sydney office. She is part of a national team of analysts providing insight into government activity of interest to the business and peak organisation community and supporting the work of Barton Deakin’s directors.
Jessica joined Barton Deakin from the NSW Government where she was part of the Department of Premier and Cabinet’s media liaison team, working on the complicated public policy issue of local government reform. Prior to that, she worked in the Warringah electorate office of Hon Tony Abbott MP in his time as Prime Minister of Australia.
In 2014, Jessica travelled to the USA and worked as an intern at The Leadership Institute in Arlington, Virginia – an organisation training young conservatives in public policy and campaigning.
She is an active member of the Liberal Party and worked on the 2013 federal election campaign.
Jessica is in the final stages of completing her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of NSW where she will major in finance and management accounting.
